Contractors and Subs

Damages can be recovered from a subcontractor should it be found that the work was not performed in a good and workmanlike manner even though there is no direct contract between the owner and the subcontractor.  The subcontractor is liable to the contractor, home owner or third party for damages caused by defective work.
